Hi there, In case you wondered, we're still alive. As of now we're recording vocal tracks and everything else is pretty much done. Some guitars and some organ tracks are still missing, but that's about it. Why so long, you wonder? Well we have had many breaks during the recording process, and all the members have their own jobs and a bunch of other bands as well so we haven't had the opportunity to work 24/7 during this one year + time that our album has been in the making. That's life and we'll deal with it, so maybe you can too, right? Our website will be updated in the near future (meaning less than a year) and we'll inform you as soon as the album is done and we have a release date.
Thanks for the patience and the good spirited fan-mail.

cheers, Henkka, Timo, Pasi & J-P

Hello Troops! After a somewhat stretched-out break and all kinds of interesting twists we are now back and ready to work. During the past few months we've been writing most parts of what will be the 4th Silent Voices album. As you read this we're stuck in the studio and for all you fans out there we're pleased to announce that the next Silent Voices album will hit the street in late 2008 or early 2009. With this album we're taking the time to make everything just perfect and I'm sure everyone will be pleased with the results.

In good spirits with a big beer,

Henkka, Timo, Pasi & J-P

These kinds of unfortunate things happends all the time, and we totally understand and respect Michaels decision, and of course we wish him well and hope that he will find the musical satisfaction he's longing for and truly deserves. We had a great 8 or so years, a lot of fun, music and parties with a lot of memories that we'll carry with us. Cheers & rock on mate!
The band doesn't actively seek for a new singer at this moment, but will take a summerbreak and start writing new music in the autumn.

I've been twisting and turning this thing in my mind for a long time and it seems that there's only one way to go, so I can find some peace. I've come to the conclusion that I must leave the band in order to release the stress I've been feeling for longer than I've had to. The musical direction and the way that the band functions has gone in a direction lately that has notbeen to my liking - in fact it has bothered me quite a bit. It saddens me to part ways with Silent Voices, simply because I love progressive rock and metal and I'm not sure if I'll ever find another progressive band with such talent and also great personalities. I have no bad feelings to any of the guys out side the band and I wish them all the best for the future adventure's on their musical path. On the other hand, I will continue pursuing new goals with Sentiment and will be active in the musical field. I hope that all the guys that Silent Voices has consisted of until now will find the winds to raise them higher to the music skies, and I thank them for years of friendship and for all the things I've learned. I'd also like to thank all the fans supporting the band. I wish you well.

Michael

The New Album is now officially ready, the title & release dates will be announced soon. It was a shitload of work once again on a tight schedule but we pulled it off (once again). It's definately our most diverse album to date, with tons of the progressive elements that we held back on Infernal. Just can't wait 'til everybody can hear this, we'll have some beers meantime.

Cheers,
The Dudes
